Editorial Process
All manuscripts submitted to Assessorium Publishing undergo a rigorous peer review procedure. First, the Editorial Team reviews each submission to ensure it aligns with the journal’s objectives and complies with its style guidelines.
If it passes this initial check, an associate editor anonymously assigns the manuscript to two external reviewers with expertise in the subject area. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on several key criteria:
- Scientific and methodological rigor
- Relevance and timeliness of the research topic
- Strength of the study’s objectives and, where applicable, hypotheses
- Accuracy and depth of data analysis
- Discussion and conclusions connected to the research goals
- Overall quality, with emphasis on originality
If reviewers provide conflicting evaluations, the manuscript is sent to a third expert. In all cases, acceptance or rejection decisions are supported by detailed reviewer reports.
The review process generally takes 1 to 3 weeks, depending on the extent of revisions requested. Authors are notified whether their manuscript is accepted, requires modification, or is rejected, with clear explanations provided in the latter two cases.
Accepted articles are typically published in the current issue in press, or at the latest in the following issue. Authors are kept informed throughout every stage of the process.
